Ok, these types of canopy covers aren't necessarily the most decorative but that's not their purpose. These are practical items to stop yourself getting bitten to death by all kind of nasty insects. Mosquitoes seem to love me and whenever I stay in a hot country I try to get some sort of netting over my bed to protect me from them.
You can get mosquito canopies in different colors to spice things up a bit and for a little extra money you can buy some lovely large white versions that look like something from the movie "Out of Africa". Very colonial! On the whole though they are mad out of cheaper man made fabrics and don't look very pretty.
